NEW STATE PROGRAM HELPS NJ BUSINESS OWNERS TRANSITION TO EMPLOYEE OWNERSHIP
Are you thinking about succession planning, retirement, or exploring new ways to preserve your company’s legacy?
For the first time, the State of New Jersey is providing both expert guidance and financial assistance to help eligible business owners evaluate whether an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is the right fit. Offered through the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s new ESOP Assistance Program, this limited pilot program makes it easier than ever to take the first step toward employee ownership.
In partnership with the NJ Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and the Rutgers Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing, the New Jersey State Women’s Chamber of Commerce will share practical resources and host programs designed to help you explore employee ownership.
